About FleetPride
FleetPride is the nation’s largest distributor of truck and trailer parts and services. The company carries a wide array of parts and offers over 1,000,000 SKUs across 490 brands and 320 product categories, including its own exclusive brand. FleetPride offers omnichannel delivery options for eCommerce purchase including local delivery, expedited shipping, and in-store pickup to one of 300+ retail branches.
Challenge
Digital Modernization Journey
As part of its digital modernization roadmap, FleetPride needed a robust ecommerce platform and architecture that met all current requirements and future roadmap features. FleetPride was looking to grow its customer base and offer a more modern, responsive and feature-rich ecommerce experience.
With this initiative, FleetPride had several challenges and goals:
· Double new customers
· Offer B2C/Guest commerce
· SEO and performance
· Punchout support
· Large 1,000,000 SKUs catalog
· Complex B2B requirements around pricing and promotion, quotes, loyalty, order to invoice, fleet management, etc.
· Address technical debt with the current Salesforce CloudCraze Commerce platform
· Allow existing customers to purchase with contracted price, loyalty and multiple fulfillment options. Manage fleets on the site and purchase parts using PO
· Receive quotes and checkout with quote
· Self-service for all user channels for orders, order tracking, invoices, wish list, quotes, wallet, etc.
Solution
Salesforce B2B Commerce (LWC) as core commerce platform
FleetPride partnered with XCentium to redesign and upgrade its commerce solution to Salesforce B2B Commerce (LWC-LWR). Salesforce B2B Commerce Lightning is a robust enterprise scale ecommerce platform that runs on the core Salesforce platform and offers both B2B and B2C
features and CMS capabilities with Experience Builder. Lightning Web Components (LWC) and Lightning Web Runtime (LWR) provide a modern responsive and performant UI with CDN-like caching capabilities.
The team used Figma for UX, Salesforce Marketing Cloud for emails, Coveo for search, Dell-Boomi for integration with FleetPride internal systems (iSeries, Sterling OMS, Blue Yonder), APIS for integration with 3rd party applications (Kount, VINtelligence, Card Connect, Bill Trust), and Azure PaaS for invoice history data.
