CloudCraze (CC), the Salesforce B2B Commerce Cloud offering, allows the creation of customer specific pricing using accounts groups and Price Lists. An account group, as the name implies, is a construct that groups Salesforce accounts. An account group has the advantage of being associated to many price lists. In this manner it becomes possible to allow a group of customers to use one price list and another group to use an entirely different price list. In addition, there is nothing preventing the setup of an account group for just one single customer. This structure provides a broad array of possible configurations. The following illustration show how to configure CC to provide this flexible customer pricing structure.
Let’s see the examples of two account groups and two price lists that are created where each account group will see different pricing structure.
Example1: Platinum Account Group & Price List – sees 25% less pricing on the B2B portal
Platinum Price Group below associated with Platinum Account and Platinum Price list.
The Platinum Price List below associated with Platinum Account Group and Price List Items. The Price List Items contains Products and the Pricing. The pricing for all the products here is 25% lesser than the retail price.
Example 2: Gold Price Group & Price List – sees 20% less pricing on the B2B portal
Gold Price Group below is associated with Gold Account and Gold Price List.
The Gold Price List below associated with Gold Account Group and Price List Items. The Price List Items contains Products and the Pricing. The pricing for all the products here is 20% lesser than the retail price.
Now, let’s see the actual product on the B2B Commerce portal for the Platinum Account – The price displayed below is 25% lesser than the List Price for the Platinum Account.
The following is the product detail page for the Gold Account – which shows 20% lesser than the List Price for the same product.
This completes the setup of Custom Specific Pricing using Account Groups and Price List on Cloud Craze.
