Business Development Executive


XCentium is currently looking for a dynamic Business Development Executive to lead our West Coast Business Development expansion. The ideal candidate will be engaging, with a high degree of character and integrity. The best candidate will also have a genuine interest in building relationships, both with potential clients, and internally with our teams. Our preferred candidate has had success in account management or business development in Digital services, building trusting relationships, and being determined, yet patient, and well respected in the community. XCentium is a highly collaborative environment, therefore clear and effective communication skills and an inclination toward teamwork are a must.

 

Locations

Los Angeles - The West Coast Business Development Executive will work in our El Segundo office, Monday through Friday, as well as travel to trade shows as requested.

We help clients align their technology strategy with business objectives, leverage technology excellence to deliver superior results, engage customers on web and mobile project and help them run their business in the cloud. Our core areas of expertise are UX, CMS, CRM, Commerce, Azure and AWS.


Responsibilities

  • To hunt new business with the goal of creating loyal clients and growing these accounts over time
  • Expand XCentium's market throughout Western US territories
  • Support the Sales and Marketing team by helping develop and execute campaigns
  • Assist in planning trade shows and attend them


Qualifications

Must Have's

  • Must be highly skilled, energetic and motivated, preferably with 1-3 years of a proven track record of selling services 
  • Must be proficient in selling Digital services - or have the ability to quickly learn
  • Great communicator and with 1-3 years of experience with Salesforce, GTM, MS Office 365, LinkedIn etc., Rain King
  • Is respected, genuine, likable, humble, trustworthy.
  • Is respectful, resourceful, hardworking and humble and has integrity.
  • Makes others feel important.
  • Must enjoy learning – and be a quick learner. With the technology industry, as soon as you figure it out, there is always a new iteration to learn.
  • Dedicated to serving people - both our customers as well as coworkers in the XC team
  • Must be willing to work as a team to develop and deliver marketing campaigns to drive sales
  • Must be willing to travel to trade shows or clients as needed, will include evenings and occasional weekends
  • Must be highly skilled, energetic and motivated with a proven track record of selling services 
  • Must be proficient in selling IT services or have the ability to quickly learn
  • Experience in managing and growing accounts 
  • Experience sourcing and creating contact lists
  • Experience in doing sales proposals and presentations 
  • Must be willing to work as a team to develop and deliver marketing campaigns to drive sales
  • Proven track record of working with teams to increase business
  • Must be willing to travel to trade shows or clients as needed, will include evenings and occasional weekends

Preferred Skills

  • Experience sourcing and creating contact lists
  • Highly skilled, energetic and motivated (but not obnoxious) with a proven track record of selling digital services
  • Experience selling Web, CRM, Commerce, CMS, SharePoint, Business Intelligence, Salesforce, Custom Development and Cloud related consulting services
  • Ability to hit the ground running from day one
